Who we are

As a networking organisation focusing particularly on women's issues, Fife Women in Business has been established since 1991.  Members range from women who run their own businesses to women in professional positions within companies. 

FWB normally meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 for 7.30pm.  We start each meeting with a relaxing glass of wine while networking with fellow members and guests, before enjoying a meal followed usually by our guest speaker.  Members have the opportunity to promote their businesses through our Newsletter, website or the "5-minute slot" during our meetings.

FWB is affiliated to the national Association of Scottish Businesswomen (ASB).  The ASB provides all FWB members with the unique opportunity to showcase themselves and their businesses throughout Scotland and beyond.

But it’s not all business – as part of a work/life balance, FWB also holds social events from wine tasting to fashion evenings, or for the more adventurous, karting, archery or clay pigeon shooting.

The objectives of FWB are:

• To provide a forum for discussion and development which is apolitical and non-denominational
• To enable businesswomen to share and increaseknowledge, skills and experience
• To promote a business network among women who are in a position of decision making within their business or organization
• To encourage members’ advancement into managerial and executive levels
• To exert influence in a professional manner in business circles and thereby to promote the advancement of women
